Chocolate Matcha Energy Bites – Helping you fight the 4pm energy slump.
That should so be the slogan for these uplifting chocolate balls of goodness! A combination of chocolate, walnuts and honey with hints of coconut and the added energy boost of matcha means these are an amazing on the go snack to have on hand wherever you are mid afternoon, or morning for that matter! I am a huge breakfast energy ball eater because they’re just so easy to eat and I love that I can prepare them the night before.
Chocolate Matcha Energy Bite Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of walnuts
- 1 small handful of sultanas
- 1 tbsp of pure cacao
- 1 tbsp of coconut oil
- 2 tbsp of honey (or agave syrup)
- 1 tsp of matcha green tea powder
For smoothness pop the oats, walnuts, cacao, and matcha in a food processor. Blend. Little by little add the sultanas coconut oil and honey. Roll into balls and store in the fridge.
