Simple Chocolate Energy Balls

This is a super simple but ridiculously yummy chocolate energy ball recipe. It’s refined sugar free and tastes delicioulsy indulgant with it’s rich chocolate flavour and hints of coconut. You can pretty much make these in five minutes flat, they’ll keep in the frige for up to a week and they make a great on the go snack. I cut these into hearts with a cookie cutter for work and they went down a treat!

Simple Chocolate Energy Balls Ingredients:

Makes 20 balls

  • 3 Cups of rolled oats
  • 1/2 Cup of walnuts
  • 4 Tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp of almond butter
  • 5 Tbsp of honey
  • 3 Tbsp of pure cacao
  • 1 heaped tbsp of coconut oil

Method:

Pop the dry ingredients into a food processor and mix thoroughly, add the almond butter, honey and coconut oil until it is all fully mixed together. Roll into balls – wet hands slightly to make this an easy, stick-free task!

Enjoy!
