Good morning amigos! Happy Wonderful Wednesday, my goodness it is gloomy here today. As you can probably imagine I am currently in sunny Cornwall where the heavens have opened and we have two fires lit in the house. The great British Summer is most definitely upon us. Shall we get on with this week’s wonderful?
.: A New Camera.
It had to be the very first thing on my list as I am completely and utterly obsessed with it. I have a Panasonic Lumix GX800. My very first proper camera, and I’m having the best time playing around with it. I toyed with the idea of getting a new iPhone, but I’m so pleased I went for the camera. The depth and texture of the photos is so noticeable and I’m hoping it will really increase the quality of my blog and vlogs.
.: My Furbabies.
I said goodbye to them on Saturday for 10 whole days, don’t worry my Mama is looking after them but oh my goodness do I miss them! I’m sure Katie will knock all of my photo frames, cups and saucers and vases off the shelves upon my arrival home. She likes to let her feelings be unequivocally known.
.: My Chocolate Brown Friend.
This little (actually rather large) bundle of joy is keeping me company today, I woke up to her waiting outside the bedroom door for me. She is such a loving furry friend! There’s nothing quite like a doggy cuddle on the carpet to set you up for the day ahead.
.: Speaking Of Carpets…
We don’t have carpets in Spain. I love carpet…carpet is everything. That warm, soft feeling of loveliness. I’ve spent much of my time lying on the carpet, making the most of it. Which says a lot about my mental wellbeing I’m sure.
.: Dorset Cereals.
My absolute favourite cereal in the whole wide world, topped with soft fruit and soya milk. I am in heaven. As you know I usually make my own cereal, mainly due to not being able to find refined sugar free and dairy free cereal back in Barcelona. The variety of Peta friendly foods in the UK always blows my mind.
.: The Island.
This used to be my favourite place to go as a child, we’d hop on a boat and take a picnic with us. At very low tide you can even walk to the island. The spot I snapped this photo from was my Nan’s favourite place in the whole wide world – sat on a bench, watching the waves hit the shore waiting for my Grandad to finish his game of bowls.
.: Tea Rooms Galore.
As you can probably imagine, I’ve been drinking allllll the tea since arriving back and yesterday we popped into a local tea room in town. There’s something so wonderfully cosy and lovely about a tea room.
.: The Weather.
Dare I say that I am secretly adoring the rainy weather today? Even though it plays absolute havoc with my joints, being able to wrap up warm by the fire, with steaming mugs of tea whilst catching up on blog jobs is one of my favourite feelings ever.
Being able to pop in to see my Grandparents when I’m staying with Fraser is fab. Fraser and I were childhood friends and grew up in the same town where our families still live now. I’ve popped in for quite a few cups of tea since Saturday. It’s been tea and catch ups galore!
.: Peppermint & Liquorice Tea.
I am all about peppermint tea. I am also all about liquorice tea. The person who married these two flavours together is a legend. That is all I have to say on the matter.
I hope you’re having a truly Wonderful Wednesday today. If you’d like a spot more wonderful please do pop over to the other WW-ers, I’m off right now to get my weekly dose of wonderful from them! Sally Tangle, Jo, Michelle, Kate, Sam, El , and Emma.
